Just went through same bs as ajax.... Last month I can up 700 gigs and they throttled me on like day 27 of plan.... Whatever I just re-upped a few days early.

This month I got throttled yesterday... At 300 gigs. Gal from customer service was nice and yes it's unlimited and turned me back on. (American call center I think) English wasnt accented. Said it was fixed and I should be good from here out.

Day later get throttled again.... Go through clearly foreign call centers keep saying I violated terms of service..... No one can tell me what I did wrong. Not doing anything different.... Jockeyed around from accent to accent no one can do anything.

Third call I get transferred to so someone who tries to explain that I download too much. That because I used over 60 gig they can throttle me. Presumed to be using phone inappropriately.

Made it sound like they get a notification from carrier that I'm a bandwidth hog or something. He turned on my data service again as a one time "courtesy".

Basically told only way to avoid this is to not use so much data....

So unlimited yeah.... Until a couple days from the end of your month to try n get you to pay early it seems to me.

I'd bet there will be a classaction lawsuit soon.

I have to say that their ultimate unlimited plan is bogus. I have pamphlet here about it. It says all the data you want but they shut me off last month but turned it back on. This month they shut me off yesterday and turned back on then shut me off today and won’t turn back on! I am waiting to hear from my attorney about this civil matter. They are doing the same thing as they did last time and was sued over it. I know of this cause I was part of the lawsuit before. They are lucky I don’t do the mysterious shopper thing anymore. Worst company I’ve seen not giving what they advertise. Thankfully I also have a cricket cell phone active so I can post on here and hopefully this gets settled before having to take to court again.

Straight Talks ultimate unlimited data plan is a lie! They have shut off my data 3 different times. The first 2 they turned it back on but not this time. I have a pamphlet here right in front of e that states “all the data you want”. Their is no * symbol like the other plans have and I’ll attach photo. So they I guess want another civil lawsuit like last time that I was a part of but this time I am going through my own attorney now. In my opinion worse company that does not give you what they advertise. They are real lucky I am not one of those mysterious shoppers anymore. I truthfully think the BBB should shut them down for false advertising. Horrible customer service too when you call in to get things straightened out. Luckily I’m with Cricket Wireless too so I can still get online. I hope this gets resolved soon before it goes to court again!

Ultimate unlimited is a joke...I have been throttled because they said I used more that 60gigs! I thought it was unlimited! Straight talk is a joke. Bought a straight talk phone from Walmart and I do a lot of streaming so apparently this breaks their agreement! I called and talked to someone from the Philippines then was transferred to the manager that kept wanting to read me their terms and conditions. So beyond livid right now! Don't waste your money! I am contacting the BBB, don't know what good that will do but belive me I did my research before I purchased their ultimate unlimited plan and talked to the several times and of course then it was no data cap completely unlimited now it's a different story! LIVID!

Ultimate Unlimited with no data caps? Nah... Not even accurate. My internet service was disconnected because they said I had violated their terms of service. On their advertisements, they say you can stream unlimited videos etc. etc. There are no data caps... HA This makes the second time my internet services have been deactivated in the past few months... and I have been a customer for a very long time. The phone I have only holds 8 gb of internal space, so I have to delete one app and install another just to get around that... and no, it has no option to store my apps on the memory card. In my area, there is a super long waiting list for fiber optics, and I have no Wifi to use! I have a son at home that is homebound who is Autistic, and he also likes watching videos on my phone among other things.. You have no idea the meltdowns I have had to handle due to a large change in his routine! Right now I have driven 40 miles to my sister's to use her Wi-Fi over the weekend. Unlimited is supposed to mean unlimited... Not, well you are using more than we expected, so we are disconnecting your data.... Straight Talk is a ridiculous carrier... If you fall for their "UNLIMITED" LIE.... Then you will eventually find out exactly what I have... Oh... and for those of you who see Straight Talk Messaging these people online, offering help and assistance... Remember, their internet services are off, and they can't receive the message in the first place... Them even making the statement is for all of the viewers of their statement... :evil:

My data is throttled after only a week of service for an unlimited service its definitly not unlimited
