You are not subscribed to a cellular data service

Purchased an iPhone 5 and a Straight Talk $45 unlimited plan. I can call and text but can't use the internet or data enabled apps. My Straight Talk account shows that I'm already activated. What needs to be done to fix this?

I am having the same problem plus I can not setup my voice mail. Can someone please help

TaDa 5th post. I've had Straight Talk ever since it came to my town. Great service that I recommend to everyone. To now have an iphone 5 on verizon is most exciting. I hope I'm not dissappointed.

Greetings StraightTalk,

I'm having the exact same problem with a newly activated iPhone 5. I ported over a number from AT&T. The voice service is working; I'm able to make and receive telephone calls. I'm unable to use the wireless data service or visual voicemail. I receive the 'you are not subscribed to a cellular data service' error message when trying to surf the web or use email via the cellular wireless service. I signed up for the 90 day unlimited voice, text, and data service with auto refill.

Also, I'm able to send text messages and the messages a received quickly. When someone sends me a text message it is delayed by several minutes.

Please help ASAP! Thank you.
