When are the smart phones going to drop

looking to get a smart phone but the prices are outrageous for prepaid service....on top of the mandatory $45 unlimited plan which isn't bad considering some other carriers out there...Thoughts anyone?

You can pick up an entry level SmartPhone for as low as around $40 or so... but of course you get what you pay for also. Personally I dont believe the pricing is too high considering the options available for the phones. Heck... I am buying the Proclaim for $180 and after a few months I might not even be able to afford the service... but using wifi I can still connect to internet and get various games and apps... so its still useful.

Also, if you're willing to spend some sifting through Craigslist posts, you should be able to find some decent prices on phones that aren't brand new. Worked great for me!
