How do I buy a VOLTE phone?
Posted: Tue May 14, 2019 9:27 pmI received a text message from Straight Talk stating that I needed to buy a new phone which would be VOLTE capable or my phone would not work when they switched over to VOLTE. I went to shop Straight Talk phones and could not find out if all of the phones offered were VOLTE capable. I would hope so since Straight Talk will be changing to VOLTE only in December. Since I could not find out, I called Straight Talk customer service. The gentleman I spoke with was not sure how I could find this out. Eventually, after he spent several minutes searching, he told me to go to https://yourphoneupgrade.com/straighttalk. I went there. I chose special offers since the only other choice was "My service was already transferred to another phone". When I clicked on the "SEE OFFERS" button, I was taken back to the https://shop.straighttalk.com/shop/en/s ... alk/phones url which had the same phones I was already looking at before I contacted customer service. I have no idea what to do now. If Straight Talk doesn't do something to fix this before December, they will be losing a whole lot of customers because no one will be able to change over to VOLTE.
