POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE CONSIDERING ANOTHER PROVIDER

DECEMBER 21ST I CALLED ABOUT THE SPECIAL OFFER $440 FOR 1 YEAR AND GETTING A SIM CARD ORDERED. TOLD THE REP. WHAT PHONE I HAVE AND SENT ME A SIM FOR $8.42. THE REP STATED THAT AS SOON AS I GET THE SIM CARD AND I CALL I COULD HAVE $440 OFFER.
DECEMBER 24TH RECEIVED THE SIM CARD WAS THE WRONG SIZE SIM CARD FOR MY PHONE. GOT ON THE WEBSITE AND ORDERED THE CORRECT SIZE SIM MYSELF FOR $8.42.
COUPLE DAYS LATER RECEIVED THE 2ND SIM ATTEMPTED TO ACTIVATE IT OVER THE PHONE WOULDN'T WORK ENDED UP SPENDING MANY HOURS ON THE PHONE ATTEMPTING TO ACTIVATE THIS SIM CARD HAD MULTIPLE TICKETS OPEN AND COULDN'T GET IT ACTIVATED.
FINALLY AFTER A LONG FEW WEEKS OF WAITING WITH NO RESOLUTION I MADE A TRIP TO WALMART AND BOUGHT AN ACTIVATION KIT WITH ONE MONTH OF STRAIGHT TALK AND A NEW SIM I CAME HOME ACTIVATED IT MYSELF ON THE COMPUTER ALL GOOD
CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE
ME: WOULD LIKE TO GET THE ORIGINAL OFFER OF $440 FOR ONE YEAR. I AM SURE YOU CAN SEE A RECORD OF WHERE I PLACED THE ORDER. THE REP. TOLD ME I COULD GET THE $440 OFFER ONCE I HAVE THE SIM CARD ACTIVATED ON THE PHONE.

ITS ALMOST LIKE STRAIGHT TALK CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HALF OF THE TIME WHAT YOU ARE SAYING MOST LIKELY DUE TO THE LANGUAGE BARRIER. ALTHOUGH ONE GUY DID LAUGH AT ME WHEN I ASKED FOR A REFUND ON THE SIM CARDS. WELL DAMN IT ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU SENT ME THE WRONG SIZE SIM CARD AND THEN A SIM CARD THAT DOESN'T I WANT MY MONEY BACK EVEN IF IT IS $8.42 X2. PRETTY PISSED OFF ABOUT NOT GETTING THE ORIGINAL OFFER THAT I WAS PROMISED $440 FOR ONE YEAR. I CANT GET A REFUND ON SIM CARDS THAT DON'T WORK BS. TOO TOP IT ALL OFF I HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO MAKE CALLS NOW BUT NO TEXTING OR DATA SERVICE. WHEN I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHY DATA AND TEXTING WASN'T WORKING TOLD ME TO WAIT AND CHECK BACK LATER.
IN MY OPINION THIS IS VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I PLAN ON POSTING MY EXPERIENCES WITH STRAIGHT TALK ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, AND MANY OF THE OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES I HAVE ACCOUNTS WITH. IF A RESOLUTION IS PROVIDED AT A LATER DATE I WILL FOLLOW UP ANY POSTING WITH THE RESOLUTION. IF NO RESOLUTION ONCE MY AIRTIME RUNS OUT GOODBYE STRAIGHT TALK.
