Internal memory? Can it be expanded?

I have an LG Optimus Zip, and have been happy with it, except for issues regarding the internal memory. All the ST phones seem to have small internal memory, unless you go with the very expensive Iphones. Anything I can do, short of changing providers? Thanks!
