BYOP Program Sprint Phone

Postby cbree123 » Thu Mar 13, 2014 9:08 pm

I am having trouble understanding how this process works. I wanted to know if I purchased a phone with sprint will I be able to use the Straight Talk Network Access Point to use it. And if so what do I have to do to the phone before I can use it with straight talk?

Hi cbree123. My name is ST - Kyle and I will be addressing your question. Our CDMA Bring Your Own Phone program will not work with other CDMA phones (Metro PCS), our branded phones (TracFone, NET10, Straight Talk, SafeLink or Telcel America), iPhones (except iPhone 4 & 4s), Blackberry, iPads or tablets. You may visit this link to check your phone’s eligibility: http://www.straighttalk.com/wps/portal/ ... gistration. If your phone is eligible, you need to purchase a Network Access Code and an Unlimited Airtime Plan to activate the phone. There's no need for you to configure the APN settings of the phone since it will be programmed automatically once activated. Thanks.

Hi cbree123. My name is ST - Kyle and I will be addressing your question. Yes. CDMA iPhone 5 will not work with our Bring Your Own Phone program for CDMA as of this time. However, if the phone is GSM type, as long as the phone is an AT&T compatible GSM phone, T-Mobile compatible GSM phone, or an UNLOCKED domestic GSM phone, it should work. You should purchase a SIM Card compatible to the phone. Thanks.
