I have been using my I phone 5 BYOP for a year with 4G data service. I recently lost my 4G service on Monday Dec 9, 2013. I do not know why. After many phone calls to ST customer service and following all their instructions I was finally told my sim card was too old and I had to order a new sim card to get 4G data again. Ordered the new sim card Dec 12th. Will this solve my problem because it does not seem right to me that suddenly the original sim would all of a sudden not receive the 4G data anymore? Unless some kind of update happened. Any ideas?

The new sim card arrived today 12/16/13 and activated without issue and receives the 4G Data. Thank you for your time.

I also lost my 4G around December 9. I traveled into a LTE supported area and was prompted for update and I updated to 15.7. Since then I only get slow 3G and no 4G. My sim is only about 2 months old. I ordered directly from ST. Any help would be appreciated.

I think some of this just has to do with the little icon. While on ATT, one day after an ios upgrade my iPhone showed 4G, even though nothing had really changed. I moved over to net10, and at first it showed 4G, then when I got an APN settings push the 3G re-appeared, but speed seems the same.

Is there a ST map showing where 4G coverage is available?
