2.50 discount for auto refill, but I'm already signed up

Hi Kyle, thanks for trying to help me. I'm happy to be saving money with Straight Talk, and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to save $2.50 per month. However, I don't think this is being implemented in an ideal manner. Since I need to make five posts on this message board before I can PM you, I'm going to make some suggestions in my following posts.

Please take these suggestions as ways that I think you can improve your service, and not as me whining about Straight Talk. My experience to date has been very good and I am a happy customer.

Suggestion 1: if you implement an offer like this in the future, consider automatically enrolling those who are already on the plan. In many cases these are your most loyal customers, and they shouldn't be treated any worse than new customers.

Suggestion 2: if you aren't going to implement my first suggestion of automatically enrolling existing customers in new discounts, consider making it easier for the existing customer to enroll. The simplest method would be a selection in a control panel that says something like "Please enroll me in this offer." Many existing customers, including me, were confused to have received this offer without being able to easily take advantage of it.

Suggestion 3: If the solution is something like the de-enroll/re-enroll solution that everyone is doing, and it's not possible to do it using the web interface, then make it one of the automatic phone options. From what I understand I could probably have unrolled by phone, but it requires reaching a customer service representative. My experience was that I navigated through many phone menus only to be told that no customer service representive was currently available and that I would need to call back.

Suggestion 4: If the alterative to phone support is message board support, then don't make it so difficult to communicate with customer service. I realize that the five post minimum for new users is there to prevent spammers from signing up and then spamming other members. But perhaps you can make it so that you can always PM people in Straight Talk support.
