Hi Aerodamus. My name is Straight Talk Felice. We are sorry for the trouble. I’m going to try to help you now. We need to take this issue offline so I can address it further. I will contact you directly with a private message. Thank you.

I've been with ST for about 4 months. It's been much smoother since someone on the XDA forums posted that there are apps that would allow me to delete the hard-coded Tmobile APN that was messing up my data service.

I wish I knew whether or not my calls were actually using Tmobile because I have a T-mobile Straight Talk SIM, or if it will use whatever network is available in the area I'm in. I'd really like to know more about the service I am buying and where I can rely on it being available.

I'm not that happy with the general call quality but that may be a function of the cellular service. It's a source of stress wondering if I'll suddenly do something that will get my data throttled, but so far it hasn't happened. I've had more problems getting Walmart to email me the card info when I buy a refill than with Straight Talk. I like that there's no way for ST to charge me for anything because unexpected high bills are the thing I fear most about cell service.

Getting detailed info about the service is where they're failing most for me. I've had my phone's hardware fail and I'm looking to replace it, but it's very unclear how to be certain what will happen with new hardware. It's hard to know how ST resolves any problems since all the threads here seem to end with "we have to take it offline to solve your problem". I'm left with reading a lot of pleas for help, wails about the 5-post rule, and occasional very angry posts from people who are feeling very un-served. This makes me nervous about my future with Straight Talk, even though it seems to be providing me with the service I want at a reasonable price point.

So, a number? 8 because I'm overall satisfied but whenever I try to dig for info on trying new stuff, I get confused and nervous. I'd be a 10 if I understood better what would get my data throttled... or if they stopped calling it unlimited and just told me what the real limit is.

To be honest I say that Straight talk deserves at least an 8, maybe a 8.5 if that counts. The 5 post rule is a small price to pay in my opinion.

For their phone service I give them an 8. No problems there.

But for the internet and picture messaging I give it a 3. And thats because I am being nice.

I have never had these issues with other companies. When I first got straight talk everything worked great. Now no picture messaging

And the internet. Dont get me started on how Sh***y that is. One second its fast, then another time it starts to load then stalls. Other times it wont work at all.

STRAIGHT TALK GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR BUTT AND FIX THIS
