Anyone can tell me about the easy exchange program?

Hi mac37083. My name is StraightTalk Elle. Straight Talk will has a new program called Handset Protection that will provide handset coverage beyond our manufacturer’s warranty. This protection is managed by Service Net, who will handle most customer issues. This is only eligible for Straight Talk branded phones only. HPP offers two types of plans:

EASY EXCHANGE
This plan extends the phone’s standard manufacturer’s warranty for one year beyond the expiration date; it covers electrical and mechanical failure from normal use.

EASY EXCHANGE PLUS (Available monthly and annually)
This plan covers electrical and mechanical failure from normal use but also adds coverage for accidental damage, such as shattered screens and water damage. Intentional damage to the phone is not covered.

The prices will vary depending on the retail value of the handset. If you wish to enroll, please contact our Customer Care Center at 1-877-430-2355. Our representatives are available Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:45 PM EST.

OK... What phones are covered... I am interested in the Easy Exchange Plus, but keep getting this "Not available ...." error message.

Login, enter phone number, denied.

Box definitely says ST.. or does the phone have to come direct from ST? I got it at the local WMSC.....

Very upset that Iphones are not covered. I paid A LOT of money for my iphone, and I feel I should be offered coverage as well!
