Verizon Smartphones in my area?

Could you please tell me if there are any Verizon Smartphones in my area other than the LG Optimus Zip? My Walmart store told me they had the Optimus Black coming and also the Samsung Galaxy S (would love to have this one), however they were not sure if they would be Verizon phones. Verizon is the only tower I have near my home, so it has to be Verizon. The Zip that I have now does not have enough onboard storage. It will only handle a few apps not enough. (I run and use several apps for that). Any insight to what is coming or is already here for the Verizon network? I love the service.....thanks so much! Mo

The Samsung Galaxy Proclaim is very nice if you can get a hold of one. They tend to sell out in stores pretty fast.
