ANDROID SOFTWARE UPDATE?!

I have now posted 4 times on this forum in the last 2 days about a Android update. I already posted under the LG thread but never go5t a single response. I saw also where several other people asked about the same thing. I've had been a Straight Talk customer for 8+ years. I always have nothing but great things to say to people when they ask about the service, costs, etc. However, after reading that you all block Android updates? I'm a little frustrated and considering switching providers. I shouldn't have to purchase a new phone every time I want to update systems. I've probably had 9/10 ST phones over the years, maybe more. I saw where some of the ST people on the LG thread mentioned helping others update their Android version at their own risk and that you would private message them to help them. Could you all please help me do this? I want to remain with ST but I shouldn't have to pay for a new phone just to get the same update others I know can easily update to with the same phone, but different providers. I hope to hear from you all soon. I have an LG Stylo 2 and want to update to the latest Android version please. Also please don't tell me it can't be done because I've already seen other ST staff on here saying they sent the customer a private message to help with this. I
