STill waiting for the port to happen. I have service cut off to my old phone on 3/20 and didn't expect the port to take this long now. I drive 45 minutes one way in an unreliable vehicle and kinda need my phone. Selectel's service is very unreliable and why I switched back to Straight Talk.
Your number transfer request is being processed. You may continue to use your OLD phone until the transfer process is complete. You will know that the transfer process is complete, once your OLD phone stops working. If you are transferring your number from another Straight Talk phone, the process should take from a few minutes to a few hours to complete. In some cases, it could take as long as 24 hours. If you are transferring your number from another Company, the process should take a few hours to complete. In some cases, it could take as long as 2 business days. It may take longer for landline phone numbers. During this time, your current phone will still work.
So business days as in Monday thru Friday?!?! So on top of the 48 hours I have been waiting for my number to port, I now have to wait another 48 hours come Monday?!?! If I call the 877-430-2355 number on my straight talk phone I get a recording telling me to wait while I am transferred to verizon and will have to pay for the call. If I call that number on my active phone, I get a recording telling me that this number is no good. So I can't call anyone to get help. A little help here would be nice and my patience is running thin.
