LG Sunrise Stuck at Tracfone Screen

Hi,

My daughter's LG Sunrise locked up and will not boot up any longer. It will power on and go to the blue Tracfone screen and then simply sit there, occasionally blinking out and then coming back to the blue screen. It will not turn off from this state until it completely drains the battery. I have tried hard resetting the device but it hasn't done anything different. I've tried removing the battery and putting it back in and it hasn't done anything different.

Please give me some support on getting the phone back to a usable state for her. I bought this only like two weeks ago and it's already gone down like this.

I have the serial number and receipt in the event this requires me to go in and exchange the device, but please let me know what can be done.

Please help..I've never had this type of phone before, my daughter found it at a garage sale we went to, we bought it the guy said it should work just needs charged it had been in a junk box a while.....long story short when we charged it, she turned it on and it's stuck on a blue screen with tracphone logo..how do we get past that . Or is she stuck with a broken phone...thanks in adance
