Missing incoming text messages

I have an LGL34C that I've owned for about a year with zero problems. As of lately however I have been missing a lot of text messages intermittently, today was the final straw as I missed an important text from work. I have missed text messages from other straight talk phones, iphones, androids, and all kinds of different mobile carriers. It only started happening very recently. Is there a fix for this? Straight Talk Jhonally, are you able to trouble-shoot these problems? I have a similar one.

A week or more ago my Samsung Infuse (AT&T bring your own phone) quit receiving MMS messages. I could send them but not receive them. (data worked fine for web, etc.) I would get a message asking if I wanted to download the MMS message, and when I tried to download them I would get an error. I tried several APN settings I found on the web as well as what Straight Talk tech support gave me. Nothing helped.

Yesterday I bought a new LG STLG L34P hoping that might bring things back to life. Now I can send and receive MMS if I send something to myself, but still no one else seems to be able to send MMS pictures to me. Now I don't even get a messages that there is something to download so there is no indicator that I missed anything, only my friends asking me if the pictures came through. If I try to send a message that is over 128 characters it sometimes gives me an error 105 code.

I kept my old number when I switched phones yesterday so an suspicious if perhaps the problem followed the phone number. Can you help?

I am having the same issue again where I am missing text messages. It seemed to be fixed for a week or two, but I've missed three texts that I know of in the last two days. Help?

I also sporadically do not receive text messages that my friend showed me that he sent me. This happens from different friends sporadically. I'm not sure if it's different carriers or not. My phone is LGL41C. Please help. I also experience an issue where friends called me but they got a busy signal and i was NOT on the phone.
