Marshmallow Update on LGl82vl

I've been asking about an update for a lgl82vl. Now, I get Straigh Talk can't condone the update because the phones are locked. Also from what I was told by 2 other associates is to contact LG or use the Straight Talk Chat link.

Neither of these helped me in any manner. LG said I'm to get the update through you and Straight Talk said the reverse. I've been polite, been rather nice as well.

I just want to know where can I update my phone. How I can do so without routing it. My problem, none of either party LG or Straight Talk in any manner said I couldn't update this before my purchase. Or I would have chose something else.

So please, can you help me? LGl82vl, is it marshmallow compatible and able to be updated?

Im having the same issue. I bought my LG Stylo 2 a couple years ago brand new for $200. The first phone was defective so I contacted Straight Talk and they told me I would get a new one in the mail after a few days. I waited for a few months and no phone come in the mail. I contacted them several times during those few months and nothing was done, so I switched to cricket. The replacement was finally sent after I switched but it was too late. I needed service and couldnt wait any longer. I was with Cricket up until this past weekend. Well I still have my brand new LG Stylo 2 that I never got to use so I figured Id give Straight Talk another chance. Little did I know it had an older Android Version 5.1.1 and I cant even update it. I spent hours before realizing that Straight Talk has their phones locked and have let me down yet again and it is very disappointing. I dont know what to do its like I have a 200 dollar paper weight because most of the features which is needed to maintain my normal life in todays world are not updated on the phone. I dont understand why. I wish I knew these things before I spent 200 dollars or I would have bought one unlocked and used it on the BYOP and saved money and still had a phone that can be updated. Please Help us with this issue we invested in Straight Talk so why cant Straight Talk invest a fraction of that back into customers? Its like going to McDonald and paying for a Combo and only getting the condiments. The only difference here is we can't get a refund or anything at Straight Talk and we gave them way more money too. I am so hopeless right now.
