getting alerts sent to my phone from my bank when i get my d

i've tried to set this service up with my bank but when i input my phone# they ask for my service provider and straighttalk is not on the list.....could please help me with? is there an alternate provider i'm supposed to use? and if so which one? thank you so very much. TAMMY RAWLS
