I purchased a used SCH-M828C and planned to transfer my # from my R355. I had the previous user remove the phone from her account and then had it added to mine. I purchased a $45 unlimited plan on my R355 before I transferred the # to the SCH-M828C. I called customer service to port the # and all was good. After waiting 36 hours I called again and was told they could not port my R355 verizon # to the SCH-M828c sprint phone. They then told me they could give me a new number which I DO NOT WANT! I was not made aware of this by the web site or customer service. My account now says that my R355 is inactive (yet I am still using it) and my # is now associated with the SCH-M828c (which does not work).
