Samsung R451C solving camera button sensitivity problem

I bought two of these phones for my husband and myself. One problem was how sensitive the camera button on the side is. Each time the phone was picked up, the button would be accidentally pressed. I found a great solution to that problem. Bought hard case covers on Ebay. Just got them today, and we love them!!

alifay,

I also was annoyed by that feature. In fact I have to tell the wife what I do to get around it a bit. Soon as I am done with the phone, I lock it by pressing and holding the * key down. Then to unlock it just slide open the keyboard.
There should be a way to make that less sensitive as that's where you grab the silly thing to use it. Oh, well. I have to get her a case anyhow. So, that will help.

I like the phone. The wife was having trouble with the old LG messaging so, I bought one of the reconditioned ones for her. Then, I didn't want to give it up. I'll have to make some more money and buy one for me.

I was having this problem to until I started locking the phone. however, now I run into the random problem of the digital clock freezing at the time I locked the phone so it doesn't display properly.

I also had this issue but found that hard cases work great at resolving that!
