Note 9 APN settings - prior Verizon

Note 9 APN settings - prior Verizon

Postby kamweb » Tue Sep 10, 2019 4:01 pm

Bought a used Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Switched it to my Straight Talk account. No internet, various problems with texting. Talked to customer service and they told me to set APN settings with the TRACFONE.VZWENTP settings. Internet works fine now, and texting is normal in most aspects, however receive about 75% of pics sent to me, but can't send any pics, and can receive group texts, but can not reply to any. ST cust srvc says they do not guarantee full texting capabilities on a BYO phone.
I can't be the only one to bring a Verizon Note 9 to ST - anyone in the same situation get it figured out? Better APN settings?
I've tried a dozen TRACFONE.VZWENTP and vzwinternet settings combinations.

Hey, can you share the resolution to this if there was one? I just switched my Verizon Note 9 over to Straight Talk and can't use mms either. Got the same BS answer from tech support just use the TRACFONE.VZWENTP and then it didn't work and they said oh well not every device works, goodbye. lol great customer service...
