My Samsung Sky does not give voicemail notifications.... is there a fix for this?

I've had the Samsung Galaxy Sky phone for just over one year and do not receive voicemail notifications - is there a fix for this?

I bought a Galaxy J7 Sky Pro and i have set up my voicemail but i DO NOT get notification that i have voicemails.
Was on phone with straight talk tech support for over an hour repeating the same thing over and over and no fix. Please someone tell me how to fix this problem.

I've had my Galaxy S8, my voicemail is set up, and I do not receive any notifications when I get a new voicemail. Can anyone help me fix this problem?

I have a Samsung SKY J3 SM-S320VL smart phone on Straight Talk and voicemail is no longer providing a notification. The voicemail box was full with 20 messages and had to be deleted by pressing 1 or *86 in the phone section. I installed PF Voicemail+ , but don't like it. This seems to be a well documented problem, but the resolution/information is being sent via PM message. What gives?
