I have been SO pleased with my R451c! I broke the 1st one and this is my 2nd. I wish i could connect with someone else who has this phone and could give me some assistance. Feel free to message me.

I have a Samsung r451c. Love it!

My screen is broke, so I cannot read any messages, see any prompts on the screen, or know which options are on the screen, etc. I would like to forward my texts to another phone and need some assistance please. I have searched extensively and the info i need is not in any manual or how-to guide. Two of the ST people here have tried a lot to help me, too, but no success. I wonder if someone out there that has the actual r451c in their hand could help me through the steps please.

I can recall a lot of the steps from memory, but obviously not all of them. I am able to send texts (by memory), and I've even transferred all my pics, but forwarding messages has got me stumped. If someone could help in any way I would greatly appreciate it.

I just cannot figure out where the glitch is in my steps, and it is driving me mad!! The following list is the steps I've come up with so far:

1. Push the soft left key to access the Menu.
2. Push the down key once for messages
3. Push OK.
4. down once (inbox)
5. ok
*
6. ok (list of messages)
7. ok (opens first msg)
8. soft right (options)
9. down once (forward)
10. ok
11. enter the phone #
12. ok

* Here my screen will say something like "your texts are full, delete some messages". I then push OK or C (cant remember which) to get to the screen displaying a list of incoming texts.

Notes:
Some people have told me that step #6 should be the soft left key, which is the Forward option, then skip to #11.
Also, In step #9, you go down once, assuming Fwd is the 2nd option; there seems to be a lot of discrepancy as to which option Fwd is here (1st, 2nd, 3rd, ect).

I've tried so many variations until I'm crazy! LOL! It seems that some of the phones are very similar to the R451c and have very similar menus, but not exactly. If anyone can actually look at that very specific model phone and go thru the steps for me I would be so very grateful!

THANK YOU
