Can't make a call, get "Welcome to Verizon Wireless..."

This problem is driving me crazy. Every time I get near my house I begin to get these messages if I try to make a call. I have called multiple times to Straight Talk technical support they pretty much tell me there's nothing wrong with my phone is working finei'm on the verge of switching carriers because I can use my phone anytime that I'm home please help
