If you are using third party hangout messaging apps, then you can check for backup in Hangout for your deleted SMS.

But, If you are not using hangout or if you do not have any kind of backup for your deleted Messages. Then only option left with you is to use Android SMS Recovery software. It will help you to restore lost or deleted text messages from any Android phone including Samsung Galaxy J3.

Note: Stop using your Galaxy J3 once you deleted the messages from it. If you continue to use your phone and add new data on it, then chances for recovering SMS will become less.

For future purpose to deal with such situation, I would suggest you to install SMS backup & Restore app from Play Store on your J3. IT will store all the deleted SMS on your phone so that later you can easily restore your deleted Text messages from the app.
