Someone mentioned that the samsung galaxy may have to be manually programmed... anyone kno?

Hi superaggrivated. My name is Straight Talk Debbie and I will be addressing your question. To manually programmed the Android phones, please tap Menu> Settings> About Phone> System Updates> Update Profile> OK. Thank you.
