My three day old Samsung Galaxy Precedent reboots when I go into camera settings, when I try to use Maps, when I am making or receiving phone calls. It just reboots by itself randomly, sometimes every five minutes, sometimes once an hour. Today, I had to fight with it just to be able to talk to a customer, who thought I kept hanging up on her.
I will attempt to get a new phone at Walmart, but if the new phone does the same thing, I may have to abandon these Samsung Precedent phones altogether. The screen sensitivity is awful to begin with, but I understand that its a $129 phone (compared to over $600 for a top of the line iPhone 4s). So I know I can't expect premium luxury, but sometimes I have to dab at something several times before it accepts my gestures.
Will update this after visiting Walmart tomorrow to exchange the phone. My other concern is with replacing the hardware and keeping my phone number, which I've had for nine years (since 2003). I have over 1,000 contacts who all know this number.
