Transfer contacts to new phone

I bought a new phone and I want to transfer my old contacts from my old phone/SIM card but my phone stopped working with that SIM card.

Is there any possible way of retrieving my contacts so that I can put them on my new phone?

The old phone does not allow me to get passed a "Invalid SIM" screen. My new SIM card does not work on the old phone. I have tried many, many times to get my old SIM card to work on my phone but it does not work. I am only stuck on "Invalid SIM" when I try to do anything on my old phone.

Any suggestions?
