moto e constant dropping calls

moto e constant dropping calls

Postby lovebug118 » Thu Jan 08, 2015 2:19 pm

I have had ST for about 3 months. I love my moto e except for one thing...I cannot receive calls without them immediately dropping or dropping within 5 seconds of the phone call. THis is very annoying as this is my only phone-i have dropped calls from a very important interview, 2 dr appts and my daughter had a dead car battery. I have called numerous times and i dont think anyone understands how to help. ive updated my phone reset my phone you name it. I can make calls just fine, but its really a pain when you must do this constantly. It does not matter where I am and I travel from Tennessee to South Carolina regularly and this happens in every state i go through. I was told by ST that it could possibly be that the towers are overwhelmed by too many customers(?) but even phone calls i get at 445am are dropped. If anyone knows how to fix this I would really appreciate it. Otherwise I will be going to another carrier that wont drop my calls.

I've been having the same issue. I've called customer service twice and have had no luck. They have had me reprogram my phone and tell me its programmed correctly. I can call out just fine, but, every incoming call gets dropped within seconds.

I've been having the same issue for the last three weeks and after calling customer service twice, still have not been able to resolve the issue. They had me dial a number to reprogram the phone and tell me its programmed correctly. BUT, all incoming calls drop withing seconds of answering.

I have the same issue; I cannot answer a call without the call being dropped within the first 10 seconds forcing me to call back, which is very frustrating when it comes to DR. Appts or vehicle repair shops where they don't have time to play phone tag.

Same issue. Can have one bar or full bars, incoming calls drop within 5 seconds, signal drops to 0 for about 15 sec then comes back up. Random, not all incoming but quite frequent. Outgoing works beautifully. Happened on previous moto e as well. Any help would be most graciously appreciated. Thanks.
