Verizon Motorola Moto G CDMA?

Hi strttalk. Here is the honest answer. The Bring Your Own Phone program supports phones that are compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile. Unfortunately, the Verizon Motorola Moto G handset can only be used with the Verizon Prepaid service, for at least the first 6 months of it's service life. It is not an unlocked device. If you were to visit http://www.straighttalkbyop.com and enter the MEID of a new Verizon Motorola Moto G, you would be informed that particular device is not compatible with Straight Talk service. Because Straight Talk is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) of Verizon services, it must abide by licensing requirements set forth by Verizon Wireless. The Verizon Motorola Moto G is not compatible with any MVNO provider. And is locked to Verizon only.

According to this post, ST must abide by licensing requirements set forth by Verizon Wireless.

I found the MEID of a nearly new Verizon Moto G on craigslist and entered it into the straighttalkbyop.com site, but the message that I got back was: "We do not offer coverage in the Zip Code you provided."

Here is my question: If I buy a verizon Moto G that is less than 6 months old and unlock it, will it then work with ST service?
