Do i ever have a nightmare going on. I bought a new never used Verizon droid xt912. I checked the website for compatibility and it said the phone was fine. I ordered the cdma activation kit(website said free overnight shipping, i was charged 14.95 anyway) as i have had ST service for about 5 years now. When i got the kit and tried to register the micro sd card, it said it was not valid. I called ST and the first person said the phone needed to be unlocked. CDMA LTE phones from verizon are already unlocked and that was confirmed when i called verizon. So i called ST back and they said they couldn't activate the micro card and asked for the nano card number. Supposedly it worked. problem is, the phone only excepts the micro sd card, nano is too small. I called them back and they said that because the phone was in the process of transferring from my old Iphone to the new nano sim that i should wait and then call back and they will transfer from the nano sim to the micro sim. I called this morning to do that and they said the micro sim wouldn't work and that they had to send me a new sim that would take 3-5 business days. So now i have no phone that works and won't get a sim(if it works) for 3-5 business days. They refused to ship to me overnight. I new there would be some issues but really?

I am also having a problem activating my xt912 Verizon out of contract phone. I currently have a phone with ST that's I'm trying to use the sum cars from. Any help would be appreciated. It says sim card not recognized.
Thanks!

Just last week I switched my wife's Droid Razr Maxx HD from Verizon to Straight Talk (once her verizon contract was over) and it worked out fine. Straight Talk uses the Verizon network in our area. The only issue I had was that the Straight Talk system had it in their info that the Droid Razr Maxx used a nano sized sim card instead of the micro sized card that it uses. So at first it wouldn't accept the sim card number. But once Straight Talk changed the card size info in their system for the Droid Razr Maxx everything worked just fine.

Just took the Verizon sim card out and put in the Straight Talk sim care in , put in the Network Access Code that comes in the BYOP kit and added a service plan number, things worked good. Even ported her Verizon phone number to Straight Talk. Took about 10 minutes for the change over . Although straight Talk told me it could take maybe 2 days for the number to port over.. but it didn't.
