Motorola Defy

I am using, and quite happy with my Motorola Defy as it seems quite ruggedly built and is supposedly waterproof, though I haven't tested that. I purchased it as an unlocked phone. They are available from a variety of online retailers, but if you plan on using it with the "AT&T Compatible" SIM it needs to support 3G frequencies on the 850 and 1900 MHZ bands if you want to have 3G data speeds. Some retailers are selling international versions of this phone which do not support these bands on 3G.
