can I change from gsm to cdma?

Hi,
I just started service a few days ago on an unlocked GSM iphone. Service is awful. I know verizon gets good service in my area. Can I buy a straight talk CDMA iphone and transfer my number/minutes to the new phone?

Hi zebby. My name is StraightTalk Elle. I will be addressing your concern. CDMA technology will not work with the BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) program; only AT&T GSM phone, T-Mobile GSM phone, or an UNLOCKED domestic GSM phone. To view more about program, you can visit this site www.straighttalkSIM.com. Thanks.
