If you asked me the serial number, here is one that came with the sim card activation package.

Annoying! I replied several times but gone missing. I am totally confused with this forum - the way it works. soooooooo against intuition. difficult to use. sucks.

I have the same problem. Galaxy Nexus with ATT-sim. I get frequent "access denied". This is really frustrating!

I have been bumping into this issue recently. I called in today to see what was going on. Based on all the "private message" responses I figured ST knew exactly what this was about. Although I could not get a straight answer it appears to be related to switching off your service for "excessive" usage. Of course no one can quantify what excessive means nor can they even see what your usage is and if you were in fact switched off for hitting their "excessive" limit. A lot of people seem to think that 100MB per day is the cut off. I am fine with limits, but the problem for me is that there is no way to know where you are at with the limit. I really can't accept the data portion on my phone to just stop working in the middle of the day and ST does not provide any warnings or ways to track it. I prepaid 6 months and have another 4 months left on the service, but I am now forced to switch to a more predictable service. I have been really happy with straight talk over the past several months. I purchased an unlocked iphone 4s and have already paid for it in service savings in less than a year. I did file a complaint with the FCC in hopes that ST will be more forthcoming with the limits and provide tools to monitor usage. I very much prefer the prepaid model and just wish there were more GSM options in the US. I am totally fine with paying for what I use, but I don't want to pay swollen plan charges that include the phone subsidy.

Unless the data limits are obscenely low (i.e. <20MB/day), this is not the problem. I got the Access Forbidden message on my iPhone 4S every day for a couple of weeks, the first time each day that I moved from WiFi to cellular data. Rebooting fixes the problem, but it's still incredibly frustrating, and Straight Talk claimed to make some adjustments to my account that seemed to fix the problem for a few days, but the problem is back, and I haven't used any cellular data in the past few days except email and some light web browsing.
It's ridiculous that Straight Talk won't address the problem in the forum so that new users can know what to do to solve this problem, instead directing each and every person to private message.
I feel exactly the same way as you, while I don't want to pay a monthly phone subsidy, first and foremost I require phone service to be reliable, and Straight Talk is just not.
Straight Talk, please come clean about what this problem is and post an update in this forum instead of individually directing everyone to Private Message. So far there are no reports here confirming that you've actually fixed the problem for anyone.
