I purchased a used Straight Talk phone hoping to upgrade from my old Straight Talk phone. Even though this new(ish) phone is out of minutes from its old owner, I can't seem to activate it with my account. I receive this message:
We are sorry, the Serial Number you entered is associated with another account or is already active. Please try again with a different serial number or log into "My Account."
How do I deactivate the phone from its old account so that I can use it with my existing Straight Talk account?
