STRAIGHT TALK PHONE CARD INVALID FOR STRAIGHT TALK PHONE

I have a STRAIGHT TALK phone. I bought the $30 STRAIGHT TALK phone card because money is tight right now and had to go cheaper, but I still need my phone to be active. Only to find out when I entered the pin that it will not work because I have a STRAIGHT TALK smart phone? I don't have the money to buy another card and I need my phone to be active. Can I get this refunded? I can't use the card...Or can I get the amount added to my account so I can pay the difference to get a plan that will work with my STRAIGHT TALK phone that I bought to use strictly with STRAIGHT TALK. This is absurd. It is not clearly marked that it will not work with my STRAIGHT TALK phone, and I was not told when purchasing that it may not be compatible with my STRAIGHT TALK phone.
