This is the message I get when trying to activate the phone I got from a friend, keeping my phone number. I'm just trying to transfer from my old ST phone to this other ST phone. My friend removed it from his account, so it's no longer active on another account. The process seems to accept the new phone without a problem, it's when I get to entering my SIM card number that I get this message.

HELP please! I do NOT want to call, and it's a holiday so I probably won't be able to reach anyone anyway, at least not anyone helpful.

Did you ever get help with this

I’m having this same issue, family kept telling me how good straight talk was and so far I am very much so not impressed. No help activating my phone and won’t even let me create a straight talk account because every time I enter the serial number it just gives me that dumb error message that doesn’t answer any questions.

I am also having this same problem. I have an unlocked iPhone I just purchased and every time I try to activate the SIM card I get the same error message. I don’t know why it’s not working. Please help

I got the same trying to bring my own phone which is showing up as TFM, so I don’t see why it won’t work.
