My wife and I are both having the slow data issue. Mine has went from very consistent to extremely inconsistent. I live in a larger city (plenty of towers and support). I have an LG G4 Verizon with a Straight Talk (Tracfone) 4GLTE sim on the $55 plan. We have been on the plan (including Auto-refill) for years now. I have brought many family members and friends to Straight Talk because the cell service (not customer service) has always been the same as Verizon except for less costs. I have done SpeedTest standing next to my brother on his Verizon phone on a Verizon plan and they were very close in times past. Unfortunately, that has changed alot recently.
My data can be 25 mpbs at home and then less than 1 mbps when driving around town. I feel like my "Verizon" towers Straight Talk promised has now turned into Sprint. This issue mainly started in the past couple weeks. I'm not a heavy user so what gives? Why pay for 10+ GBs of 4GLTE data when i'm getting less than 1mbps out around town (AND it's NOT a bad area because my service bars are full and the 4GLTE is lit up on my phone AND the coverage map for my phone, according to your website, is completely covered for the High Speed data...
I have loved the service and i have been loyal, but i'm already looking at going back to one of the big boys unless this is some kind of blip that can easily be fixed.
