Galaxy Nexus (ATT-sim) Web access forbidden

If it's for "excessive usage" then that number is less than 10MB per day. Since I first joined StraightTalk, my phone shows a total cellular usage of under 900MB. (I am usually on WiFi except, of course, when making phone calls or sending text messages - no MMS, of course.)

For me, this issue began yesterday (10/7/12). I have an iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.1.1.

For me, this is clearly a problem initiating cellular data. Happens mostly when leaving home in the morning and transitioning from wifi, but also occurs when flying and attempting to start data again when landed. I haven't identified other patterns. Seems like a proxy server though. Galaxy Nexus.

I frequently receive the same, or similar errors, using different apps on my Galaxy Nexus with the ATT-compatible SIM. My job requires frequent travel, and I am furious that Straight Talk is so unreliable. After disconnecting from a wifi hotspot, after disembarking from a plane, or after re-entering a area with ATT coverage I have a 50% chance of receiving a hassle-free connection. Half the time I successfully reconnect and receive decent speeds and decent latency. Half the time I do not successfully reconnect, and receive an "access forbidden" "secure connection could not be established" or "proxy server failed to respond" error message!

I got your message Anne_ST, but I cannot seem to reply to you through straighttalkwirelessforum.com instead receiving another error message. This one reads "We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more to be able to use this feature." Ha!
