Credit card charged four times after receiving error

I tried to order a phone and phone plan online. After entering my credit card number, I received an authorization error. I was told to re-enter my credit card information. I kept receiving the error. I received no order number or confirmation number. I check my credit card account and I was charged four times by Straight Talk. I called customer service and they said my account would be credited in 24-48 hours. I have read alot of complaints from people saying the same thing happened to them. Am I going to receive my refund, or am I going to have to filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the Office of Consumer affairs?

If you have already contacted customer care center then refund request should have been processed by now and it should be credited back to your account within 24-48 business hours. I contacted Customer Service and they said my account would be refunded within 24 hours by 5:23 PM EST on 3/29/2011. It has been over 24 hours and I have not received my refund.

Mine was charged 4 times just yesterday. I bought time for my phone & it went through correctly. But, I tried purchasing time which included a free phone, for my son. Every time I submitted my payment info, I received the notice that the site was working correctly at the time and to try back later. Well, I did, 3 more times. On the 4th attempt, the transaction went through. For some odd reason, I called my CC & found out that $48.83 had been charged 4 times. I called CS, forgot to get the Reps name, but anyway, she acted like it wasn't her problem. And told me to call my financial institution to verify the fact. When I told her that I'd already done that, she said I needed to call *the same number I had called*. When I told her that was the number I called to speak to her, she said ok. Is there anything else I can help you with today? I' m like... What?? So, what gives?? I sent an e-mail, but it says it'll be 48-72 hours before anyone will contact me. I need that $146.49 like yesterday! Not in a week from now. I'm disabled and only get one check a month... A little concern for me would've been nice. But, I'm hurtin' financially now. What else do I need to do?? :cry:
