Can't hear any calls

the issue we've been having is with phone calls and that. My girlfriends phone ever since paying for the last month, lost all ability to make phone calls or receive them properly. While the phone will dial and whatever, you can't hear anything, and neither can the other party.

As of right now her phone and sim are deactivated because we kind of refuse to pay for a cell service, if she can't even get phone calls properly.

Please. Anyone, if you know how to fix this problem, PLEASE let me know as soon as possible.
