Hi,
I just called the StraightTalk customer service number to ask how to request call records, which are needed for a legal matter. I was transferred to an automated voice message that explained how I could fax a request for these call recrods to (866) 809-7134.
I have three questions about the instructions in the message:
1) The automated message says you need to submit a "request form" of some sort but does NOT say where to get it. Is this form something I can download from StraightTalk's website? Or can I simply submit a notarized written letter, saying I am the owner of the phone?
2) I've had service with StraightTalk for many years. About a year ago, I bought a new phone from StraightTalk to replace an earlier one that broke. The instructions say I should include the IMEI number of my phone. I can supply IMEI of the current one, but I no longer have the older phone, so I don't know what that was. Can you guys just look up my call records using my phone number (it has not changed in 10 years)? Or can you look back in my account and find the old IMEI number(s)?
3) The automated message said I should remove the back of my phone, remove the battery, and take a photo of the phone's serial # and IMEI number. I have an iPhone and there's no easy way to get at the battery. I can look in the phone's menu for the IMEI number and write that down. Will that be good enough?
Thank you for your assistance.
