Stolen minutes

Postby Nikki Neely » Thu Mar 14, 2019 1:04 pm

My phone was recently damaged, and so my friend gave me his old phone to reactivate. I bought a $50 card and attempted to activate it. The minutes did not go on my phone. I was left stranded on foot in Charlotte nc. I had no service and no map. I could have been mugged raped or killed. I went to a Wal Mart the next day. The representative supposedly applied the card to the phone I had. But surprise my phone still has no service. Meanwhile my friend texts me from a third phone raising hell because his service has been terminated. He just paid $50 last week for his service.so at this point straight talk has received $100 And neither of our phones have service. When I called customer service back they said that the minutes from the card have been applied to one of the phones....i don't know which. This is a lie anyhow because neither device can make a call. And that I would have to buy ANOTHER $50 phone card to receive service on the second device. So straight talk has rciwved $100 to turn OFF BOTH OF THESE OHONES AND HAS THE AUDACITY TO ASK FOR MORE MONEY? My friend is at work now with a sick child at school. He cannot contact them regarding this. And I am currently on wifi to post this after being hung up on by the customer service supervisor for the 1 877 430 2355 number. I do not have $50 for another phone card. Ilist my job for not being able yo cintact them. My friend is angry with me. I do not understand how you can just take out money and give us no service. But I do understand how to copy this text and post it in every public forum I can think of. You have been paid now we would like our phones to work. It's as simple as that.

You mentioned a forum. Did you post about this on the Tortoise Forum? They also have a facebook page. I think that should be the best way to get the word out. Im sorry this happened to you. I have torts as well and often worry about the possibility of them getting stolen. I hope you get yours back
