Is straight talk going to stop supporting iPhone 5?

I have an iPhone 5s and somebody told me they received a text from straight talk saying within the next year they’re going to stop supporting the 5s.

I never received a text so I’m not sure, Is that true? If so would I be able to move up to an iPhone 6 and be safe?
