terrible time getting activated

Postby janetboltz » Thu Feb 09, 2012 9:23 pm

I have purchased two straight talk phones and have had a hard time getting them activated. First time activated was 3 days ago and I called them today and they said the person didn't save it correctly. They proceded to activate it again and had to do it three times
and hopefullly it will take which I doubt. Our phone from Verizon is to be shut off tomorrow and then I will not have a phone. They said it would now take 3 to 5 days since we were keeping our same numbers. I was on the phone for almost 2 hrs doing this. If I were doing this I would have been able to do this in 15 minutes. Evidently this person couldn't type. At the end I asked for his name which he gave me his first name but wouldn't give me his last name. I then asked for his last 4 digits of his social security number because they ask us for ours and he said he didn't have one. I said you aren't here in the United States? He said yes he was and then gave me his ID#. This is not how I would run a company if I wanted my customers to be happy. It had better improve or I will become very vocal to everyone about Straight Talk phones.
