I recently purchased a new Samsung precedent, and I am terribly aggrivated with what I've had to deal with.
First off, I could not find the coverage map for the "smart phones", as they were not up with the average coverage map, and this lead me to believe that it would simply work off the the same towers and service provider as the previous phone I had with this company.
I was wrong! It turned out that the phone worked off of sprints network, and sprint has no coverage what so ever where I live!
So now I am practically forced to use my old phone, which offers no 3G capabilities, and I'm stuck staring at this $150 useless peice of equipment.
I'm debating sending it back to the company but that would mean that I would have to shell out more cash to ship it back, and from what I've heard, they may not refund me since the phone isn't exactly faulty.
Unless there is a way to get the service I need for my android, I am going to give up on this company. It is pretty ridiculous that I couldn't even see a service map until a few days after I had purchased the phone.
Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips for me to get everything back on track.
Thank you.
