Login failed

I get a Login failed message when I get an email. What is the problem?

WILLELLYN, where do you usually get this error? What website?

Login failed usually appears upon receipt of an e-mail . Usually is on phone when you take it out of case. Should e-mail show up under Recent Calls ? I get e-mail messages there .
