Transfering phone number to new straight talk phone

I recently bought a new Sch-451C straight talk phone and having problems transfering my number. I have tried for 4 days now and was told to wait for 4 hours and try again. The last time I tried about 8:30 2-12-11, I was told to wait 24 hours. I will try again at 8:30 pm tinight. I just want to know in plain english what the problem is. This is the first time I have had problems with straight talk since I switched. I need my phone and the one I am trying to use now has problem. Is there anyone that can help me get my new phone activated? They keep saying they are getting a system erro.
